happy #smoothiesaturday friends! simple + classic green smoothie was all I was craving 👌🏻 it’s suppose to be 40 degrees today so heat wave over here 😂 🙌🏻 hopefully getting some time to bake today - it’s been so long and I’ve missed it! my sister is coming home from the DR so I’ll be heading to pick her up tonight! Finally have the day off so I decided to fuel it with something I've been craving along with lots of rest and relaxation! Feeling beyond amazing and excited to hit up the gym later and crush my workout. I always say I love leg day but man oh man do I love to work my back and shoulders too. These pancakes are so beyond fluffy, light and delicious. They are some of my absolute favourites that I've made. Keep reading to learn how to make my gluten free blueberry banana pancakes🙆
1 1/2 cup @gogoquinoa pancake mix
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp himalayan pink salt
1 tbsp ground chia seeds
1 tbsp @manitobaharvest hemp hearts
2 free run eggs
1 cup @lovemysilk cashew milk
1/4 cup @earthbalance butter sticks
2 tbsp agave
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
optional toppings inside I DEFINITELY recommend: blueberries and banana! 🍌
Mix together all dry ingredients in one bowl. In another mix together all of your wet ingredients. Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and gently combine.
Preheat stove top to medium to low heat (depending on your stovetop.) I used a cast iron pan. Add a little of the @earthbalance butter and wait until melted. Proceed with making pancakes as usual. (Add mix wait until it bubbles and flip. As stated I did add some mashed bananas and blueberries in my mix prior to putting on the griddle which I HIGHLY recommend!)

Fiona had her spay surgery today, so that she never has to worry about having kittens again. As amazing as it is to watch most mom cats nurture their babies, it is a pretty miserable 4+ months for them. I’ve received quite a few DM’s recently about when the ideal time to let your cat have kittens is and the answer is NEVER! The world is already overpopulated with unwanted cats. If you want to experience a birth or a mama with babies, become a foster. Don’t make your beloved pet go through this ordeal which could lead to many complications for the mother and/or kittens. #SpayAndNeuter
