Our social status and financial status have nothing to do with how much impact we can make in other people's lives.💫 If anything, I see those as excuses and a lack of gratefulness, when people tell me they have nothing to give. If you have a story, then you already have more than enough to give. You just have to take what God's given you and run with it.
See this beautiful piece of history right here? This is the Bonanza Gulch Post Office, built in the 1930’s. We’re not one for the drama but this has to be shown. Take a moment to swipe left and see what our peers over at @thinblueoverland did to it. I’ve seen a lot of silly stuff but, an LEO overland group vandalizing a monument in a State Park is next level stuff. Yes there are others that have also scribbled their nonsense inside, we expect better from the overland community, let alone law enforcement. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves, you’re held to a much higher standard.
EDIT: Since this post has made its way around the Internet, @thinblueoverland has made comments that they will be returning to the structure to remove the damage. We have offered to donate a guest book for them to take and leave for future use.
Happy new year! The festivities in Washington DC are a bit smaller than what we experienced last year in Malaysia. But we still saw a lion dance, ate dim sum, and someone gave each kid a red envelope with a shiny new penny inside. So, still a great party. There are so many little bits of languages, celebrations, food, and cultures from our travels that we have absorbed into our lives in a way I hope never goes away.

If you want to have an enriched life, be friends with people who have the same mindset as you. We have a limited time on this earth, the last thing you would want to do is waste it with people who don't help you move forward. That applies to mentally, physically, financially and tactically.

In life, we must appreciate the small things - don’t ever take them for granted! Such as the warm sunshine in Vegas, compared to the frigid nightmarish cold of Utah that makes me just want to lay in a pile of warm laundry and eat bread.
Really though guys, have an AMAZING Monday and remember that LIFE is what YOU make it (as Hannah Montana would say 😏)

Walked around Old Town last week and came across one of the houses on the Huntsville Ghost Walk. I’ve been told it’s a pretty big “dill.”
We’ve been on the road for nearly three months now and the day-to-day stuff is getting easier. It’s also a lot warmer so that we wouldn’t use a heater if we had one at the moment. One of the things I wasn’t expecting is how this change of lifestyle would affect thought processes. Without the structure of a house and place to return to the mind is unravelling out, spooling along unexpected streams or threading through overgrown pathways. There is the additional work of eking out time and space to allow this: the hunt for water, food, gas and a nighttime parking spot devour a lot more time, but to not have that rigid winding of clocks in the mind, that constant tick tick ticking is a liberating feeling. Things that seemed utterly important have disappeared into the obsolete in frighteningly quick time. There is still work to do. There is always work to do! But its place is in proportion to life, not the sole reason for it. Today’s office view included a lighthouse ⚓️.
