I have put on some weight as a result of my Crohns Medication and although it was needed, I’m concerned that if I don’t exercise and make sure I continue to eat clean that I will continue to put on more weight. I’m so happy with the results I’ve achieved already and haven’t even started my Shred Challenge. •
I have spent the last two and a bit weeks detoxing, getting back into only having a drink (or 2 😜) on the weekend, getting out most days to do some exercise for at least 30-45 mins and sticking to a clean diet ( with maybe a few treats here and there 😜) #balance •
I have yet to stand on the scales but can already see a difference in my body shape and in my clothes 👍 •

1-Minute STS™: Reverse Crunch
There are many different ways to perform a reverse crunch. If you are performing a reverse crunch to challenge your abdominals, try to put more emphasis on your abs, and less emphasis on your hips. Much of this can be seen by the distance the legs travel in space, without the pelvis moving towards the rib cage. The further the legs move in space, generally the less effort required from the abdominals. As you increase rep speed, this also requires less effort from your abs and can hinder training results. For your abs to have a major impact in this exercise, the pelvis has to move towards the rib cage, and the abs need to be the center of attention. This means that shorter, slower reps, could actually challenge your abs more than faster reps with more range of motion.
1. Try to engage the abdominal muscles more, and the hip muscles less.
2. Instead of thinking about your legs moving, focus on contracting your abs, forcing your core muscles to move your hips.
3. Your abs will work more, your hip flexors will work work less, and this dramatically alters the challenge to your core.
Small changes can make a big difference in your training results!
