Rating:🍺🍺🍺🍺 Pours pale yellow with a thick white head You can really taste the lemon grass and hops with a malty aftertaste in this one. Simi dry finish. I really like theyre turn of this style. Giving something light more flavor and still keeping it smooth and clean
Make sure to turn that volume 🆙⬆️⬆️⬆️⏯‼️ I cracked open this @grimmales DDH Lambo Door 🚘 last night, so I decided to take it back to the era of Lambo Doors with the excellent “What About Love” by Heart ♥️ ! I couldn’t resist a little song 🗣 and dance 👯♀️ with this one. I think I like the non-DDH version of this beer better, though, this one didn’t have the crisp, tropical fruit 🍍 🍊 explosion 💥 the regular version did. This was a bit more malt forward, but still a solid, balanced brew! Enjoy! Cheers!

Aufwind - Propeller - die reine Wahrheit / the pure truth
Bring the chopsticks 🥢 for the new @nbcbeerland release, Bento Box. And while it is of the German Gose style, plums inspired from Japan underpin the sweet and sour sipper. Only 1000 litres so get it while you can.

Touch of spice from the blood orange up front but a long tangerine tang lingers on the tongue. Good ipa with plenty of citrus and a bit of extra spice. Lots of sediment, perhaps from the blood orange?
But again: it was good but I probably wouldn’t get it again

Brains: Homebrewer Steve Martin had been making beer with Andrew Cronin when the pair teamed up with Heath Shirtcliffe to launch what was originally a home business in 2011. It quickly outgrew it’s original home to become a full-fledged brewery by 2012.
Brewed: Melbourne, Vic
Bought: 330ml bottle from @boozebudlive

Needs a top up.. 🍻also if you're not here, where the heck are you 🤷🏼♀️🍔
First stop in Ballarat is @athleticclubbrewery. Always producing the goods with an extremely positive experience every time. They ran out of Pale (good problem to have) but we tried the NEPA which was well balanced and the Amber ale which was sensational. So rich and full of flavour, a nice sweetness and so much toffee and caramel. Cheers to owner Peter for the chat, legend.

Hawthorn Pale Ale🍺🍺🍺🍺 Brewer: Hawthorn Brewing Co, Hawthorn 🇦🇺| Type: American Pale Ale | ABV: 4.7% |Approx. cals: 138
A cloudy pale amber with off-white head, this IPA has a sweet fruity aroma. The taste is mildly malty and fruity hops with just a hint of bitterness. Very refreshing, very moreish. I could drink this one all night.
When in Ballarat, drink local. Wow. The Roi Du Temps Grand Cru MG from @dollarbillbrewing is sensational. A wild fermented lambic using the gueuze blending technique. So deliciously sour and brilliant. Cheers to @coachhouseballarat for the info and tasting this afternoon. Drinking with @madsascha and @craftbeerslayer
Rocky Ridge Brewing Co.’s collab with Dainton Family Brewing is straight up peach nectar - thanks to 40kgs of fresh peaches - with a little pineapple, tea and chalky finish that ensures this NEIPA is true to style even without the visual lupulin fog.
2018 Top 10 material two weeks into the new year! 🍑🙌
Soft Pack Vol. 1 // STILLWATER ARTISANAL ALES
Double dry hopped, brewed with oats and lactose? Well of course it’s going to taste like pashing Sailor Moon.
With a Super Star Destroyers worth of grapefruit, lemons and freshly cut pine in each mouthful it’s set to lull you into an ultra-relaxed, fruit induced daze as if it suddenly grew 20 feet high, picked you up and rocked you in its arms whilst humming a gentle lullaby.
Mixed with an almost creamy mouthfeel and a thoroughly restrained bitterness you could overdose on the relaxants this elixir elicits without much trouble at all. And as your medical professional, I suggest you do.
Seismic activity going on at Harry's Hofbrau tonight! 6 styles for your beer drinking pleasures! I'll be sippin' on this here Shattercone IPA while I spread the word about these exquisite brews!

@stillwater_artisanal: Insetto, Dry Hopped Sour Ale w/ Italian Plums. 5% ABV.
Stillwater has made a surprising amount of appearances on here considering its home base in Maryland. We go to great lengths for this consistently delicious brewery, so hopefully it doesn't stop. Insetto plays with some of the most unique flavours I've come across in a Dry Hopped Sour. Incredibly floral and fronting big notes of strawberry and peach, the introduction of plum feels entirely natural and not overdone. Chalky towards a finish which is brightly tart, lingering with lemon flesh.

While they are not the crème de la crème of beer, @shinerbeer has now been around for 109 years! Every year for their anniversary, they release a different birthday beer for a limited time. Let's check out their rendition of a rye Farmhouse Ale.
Name: Shiner Birthday Beer 109 - Farmhouse Rye
Brewery: Spoetzl Brewery, Shiner, Texas
Style: Saison / Farmhouse Ale
Poured at 42°F from a 12oz bottle into a tulip. Allowed to warm up to 45°F before reviewing. Consu, ed on 04Jan18.
TASTE: Starts off with strong flavors of toast mixed with a touch of caramel. Subtle notes of spicy rye, stale cracker, and hints of sweet coffee quickly join. Closes with a mild mixture of sweet molasses and wheat entangled with a touch of lemon zest, earthy hops, grass, corn, and earthy yeast.
NOTE: Farmhouse Ales have their origins in Belgium and France. While the term "Farmhouse Ale" is vague and possesses a plethora of interpretations, it is difficult to observe any Belgian/French influence in this beer. It was, however, an easy drinking brew. I enjoyed the toastiness and the complexity of the sweetness. I was not a big fan of the graininess, but every Shiner beer has that aspect from my experience. Although you probably won't be overly impressed, this is a perfect beer with which you can relax.
OVERALL RATING: 3.75 / 5.0
Beer 17 - Orion by Orion. I spent 2 weeks in Okinawa in 2006 visiting one of my best friends who was teaching there at the time. Needless to say a lot of this beer was consumed. I thought it was the best, and it might have been at the time, beer I’d ever had. My current pallet puts it a couple notches above BMC, but the nostalgia factor is strong and tasting it makes me smile and reminisce. At Christmas this beer glass showed up at my door courtesy of my friend. Figured I’d break it in with the proper brew. Cheers to you Chris! Thanks for the mug and excuse to revisit this brew that I’ve thought of so fondly many times. #beerdiet#weightloss#fundiet#beergutless#gethealthy#goals#craftbeer#beerlover#beerstagram#beerblog#liquidbread#bodybybeer#beerfitness
There are monsters of mystery that hunt by night for a delicacy they call hops.
Should you encounter one of these mysterious monsters simply point them in the direction nearest craft beer bar.
A bold citrus fruit, peach and pine aroma and punchy flavour but wait, it's a lager. It's so smooth.
Last Wednesday, (I wanted to post this sooner but have been busy), my wife and I had the pleasure of attending the opening day of @familybusinessbeerco. Co-founded by 'Supernatural' star Jensen Ackles, I thought it was fantastic that the actor has a passion for beer and opened a brewery. I was disappointed that he did not attend, but I was NOT disappointed by the beer. The top three for me were The Fox, a buttery and biscuity rye Pilsner with a great spicy hop balance; King Biscuit, a malty ESB with a great noble hop and dark fruit balance; and Hamilton, a hazy Pale Ale with a mild buttered maltiness and hoppy citrus presence. I look forward to seeing how these guys will progress!!!
Mama, just killed a beer,
Put a bottle against his head,
Pulled my trigger, now I'm dead (drunk).
Mama, the night has just begun,
But now I've gone and drank it all away.
Didn't mean to get that drunk,
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow,
Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters. And I've probably just had a great night. .
A nice, fruity and sweet APA brewed with Centennial hops to give plenty of citrusy lemon and lychee flavours.
