A Cup Of Water and a Rose by #zurbaran.
The composition, the dramatic contrast between light and shadow and the black background appear to tear out the cup of water and the rose from the context of everyday life to the divine. The human beings to whom they apparently belong have no place here.
I think library addiction is even stronger than love for staircases and colorful doors for me ❤️ And when there is a combination of both, that's just a perfection 😻
What about you? 😊

Lyme Park, Cheshire, England. The original house dates from the latter part of the 16th century but what stands today are the changes that were made in the 1720s when the original Tudor mansion was transformed into an Italian palazzo.
Linderhof Palace, Ettal. The smallest of three residences constructed by King Ludwig II of Bavaria, the palace situated in the Bavarian Alps took its inspiration from Versailles and was constructed between 1863-1886. The parkland was designed by Carl von Effer which fused Baroque designs with English landscapes for one of the best examples of 19th century historicist landscape architecture.
