If you're drawn to #hematite#crystal , it could be a sign that you're in need of #grounding and #balancing in your life. As soon as the Hematite stone touches the skin, you'll feel more #centered and calm with its intense but subtle #vibrations . Calling all #dramaqueens ! While all crystals have powerful grounding effects, the Hematite crystal properties are a gem when it comes to clearing and activating the #rootchakra , the energy center that anchors us to the #earth and provides a feeling of #stability .The Hematite crystal meaning is linked with its ability to absorb any #toxic#emotions holding you back from your natural state of joy and #vitality .Use Hematite in your crystal healing first aid kit to clear away negative feelings from stress, anxiety, and worry. The Hematite crystal works to pull any stray negative energy in the aura to the root chakra where it neutralizes its harmful effects by balancing and aligning all seven chakras. This explains why Hematite is one of the best root chakra stones.
Stay #Zen in our hectic world with Hematite crystal healing properties and their ability to enhance #confidence and #strength in times of turmoil. According to legend, the Hematite crystal was used as a powerful #talisman for #warriors in the north of England because it was believed to preserve the blood or life essence of a fallen soldier wounded in battle. Your problems might not be as serious as Viking marauders sacking a village, but Hematite gives you a boost of #vigor when you rejoin the hectic pace of the #modernworld .
Because of its high iron content, the Hematite crystal stone meaning is associated with the #ancientGreeks who used powdered Hematite to make a red pigment. Because of its intense blood-like shade when mixed with water, the Greeks named it 'haima,' the Latin word for blood. This #mysterious stone with a silvery sheen is linked with the #silver color ray, the shaded #moonlight that mesmerizes with its bright and clear iridescence.

One of my favourite asana #natarajasana ——-Nataraja is a dancer form of Shiva, hence the name King of Dancers, the ecstatic cosmic dancer.
This is a pose that stillness and movement are in play; powerful yet serene. . . . .photo credit to @nknds
On Thursdays I usually go with a very basic #handstandpractice and because I’ve had a couple people ask me lately how I moved my handstand away from the wall I thought I could share some tips. There are so many people who are extremely handstand advanced, and that’s not me, so I hesitated posting this, but I remember wanting so badly to control my #inversion so if it helps anyone I’m happy. -
Two videos are attached. The first is a basic #handstandhold in #staglegs . Apparently I warm up my fingers first 😊 and then I circle my shoulder blades back and down, engaging my lats and serratus anterior. I always use a #chamberedgrip - which means I’m gripping the floor with my fingers (this is key for me in #balancing ) I have to jump with my top leg not too engaged or I pull myself over. -
The second video is a video of a cartwheel exit. If I could say just one thing about moving away from the wall it would be to learn this. It never fails me - every time I lose my #balance I can cartwheel out. And this makes the fear disappear so you can work on really practicing. I purposefully cartwheeled out in this second video so it would be a little slower and easier to see. It’s not really a huge cartwheel but just a little side step with your hand and twist in your hips.
So happy to be sharing my #handstandjourney with so many others on #handstand365 and #resolutionhandstand - this is day 46 of #365daysofhandstands . I am not a yoga teacher, just a practitioner who will #keeppracticing
Never practiced uppers before but started just over a week ago after hurting my knee. It’s nice to be a beginner student again & experience genuine progress even if it’s small. I usually never practice anything & just improve through live events I work at, which is great for developing consistency & flow but not for learning completely new things as there will obviously be significant mistakes & awkwardness - not good when everyone’s filming you 😆 The point of this post is just to show there’s so many things I’m doing & working on in the background you don’t even realize - see all behind the scenes of my day to day at YouTube.com/djdiveny 🏋🏼♂️:@anytimefitness@anytimefitnesswashingtonnj
