Day #1 we were exhausted +8 hrs difference. We arrived to our airbnb around 5. Every one had a nap except for me, I am like an overtired baby unable to sleep as I plan things on my head. Maya woke and lost no time to go outside for a walk, wanted to see the symphony of lights once again but we got lost aha and could see them from the distance! So after playing for a bit on a softplay area, I follow a friend recommendation @missy_hii and went to one of the few old fashion Peking eateries, I was almost put off but the smell and noise inside! Everyone seemed to be shouting at each other and laughing quite loudy! We gave it a go and order random things, with Maya bouncing on my arms could hardly see the menu. Everything was delicious, well but the soup. Maya was so curious watching people and guess what? She love pork and vegetables dumpling! 😌 This little girl.

So 2️⃣ big things happened the other day:
no. 1) Sophie’s been cleared for take-off! 🛫 She’s been doing so great that after this nasty cold and flu season subsides, her doctor sees no reason she can’t start earning her frequent flyer miles! So…
no. 2) We’ve booked our first family vacay in forever to…(drum roll 🥁)…New Orleans! I mean, I wasn’t planning to book something on the spot, but when you find a seriously discounted, newly renovated Airbnb with only one opening left for the exact dates you’re looking at…you’ve got to book it right?!
Gimme all your recs for hidden gems and family fun in NOLA, please!
[P.S. Yes, I realize Sophie turned 1 month old a week ago. Yes, we’ve been a hot mess over here. Yes, you can expect plenty more week-late updates in the future. 😬]
Spending the day in one of our happy places for Bobby’s birthday. Happy Birthday my love!!!

We are leaving Hong Kong tomorrow and can't believe how quickly time goes when you are having fun 💃! I have to say my flight here was not good. Maya only slept 3 hrs max in her bassinet and the remaining 9hrs on my arms 😰! There were good things the seat next to me was empty and the other person in my row was a nice guy from Philippines, he was so kind and looked after me. He took and removed food trays and also got water for me. Untill you have a baby you don't really understand how little you can do when you have a baby in your arms! The bad thing was the air-conditioning was not working and was freezing the whole flight, I managed to keep Maya toasty though. In the opposite side of the plane there was a mum of three, one infant other around 2yrs and 6 yrs old. Omg!!! Every time I thought I was struggling I will look at her and she was always looking after one of the children.. the little one also was in her arms most of the flight... At the end of the flight I told her she was amazing for coping! And she told me your child was so well behaved.. so what seems to me a difficult flight was indeed a blessing to her 😲. Not sure I want more kids at this point! (Joking!). In the pictures my work college Precilia she flew with me but was sat somewhere else, she managed to sleep through the flight 😂. We did lots already! Can't wait to share 😚. Good night! 😘
✨ All shopped out! 👛 No trip to Phuket is complete without making it to a night market! Especially the Temple Market on Karon Beach 😃 Lots of goodies here from clothing to souvenirs, even plenty of food stalls with some amazing local snacks 🍡 👌 #famjamtravels#princessaudrey👑 ✨

Our Sri Lanka blog post is up!
For our sixth family travel destination, we visited Sri Lanka for 2 weeks. We didn’t know much about the country prior to our visit. What made us choose Sri Lanka? It all started when we watched an episode of The Amazing Race season 24. We saw the contestants taking a train ride along the country and from then on it has been on our bucket list

Today we brought our daughter to see all the animals in her books in real life for the first time. The experience (however exhausting) was priceless to see the excitement on her face when she saw her first penguin 🐧, koala 🐨, panda 🐼. See Highlight Stories on our day at Ocean Park in Hong Kong.
We had such a nice time yesterday exploring the Campuhan Ridge Walk! It was paved the whole way and was a super relaxed hike with just a few little inclines.
We stopped at the turnaround point (Karsa Kafe) to rehydrate and Sienna Bella tried her first ever fresh coconut (which was literally bigger than her head!). @scotty_hawker is looking forward to heading back out there for a run tomorrow 🌿

Checking out the giraffes in the Casela wildlife park, other highlights included puddles, sparrows and sticks, there are so many great sticks.... #kingniels could hardly decide on which two to carry around!

Teaching her about all the important things in life, like spa days and beach views 😉💘
Loch Ness was one of those places I thought would be awesome to see, but never expected to visit. When we were planning our Scotland trip last April and I realized how close it would be I rearranged our route to include a stop over at Scotland’s most famous lake...and I’m so glad I did! We spent a couple hours exploring the ruins of Urqhart Castle, learning about its turbulent history and scanning the shores of the loch for Nessie. And with all the ruins and rocks to climb on my toddler enjoyed it just as much as I did (what more could you ask for?!) Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Scotland one day 😘
Hi World... my name is Leo and today I am 6 months old. I was born in england & now I am in Indonesia and I like to travel with mummy&daddy... I also like to drink milk, eat bananas and play with my animal toys🦁...Mummy&Daddy says I was created to make people happy, to heal the world and make it a better place🌎
So stoked that we are finalizing plans to be in L.A. in April. Looking forward to the land of endless sunshine 🌞 📷: @reycanlasjr

Couldn't be more proud of this little nomad. Handled the 13 hour flight from HK like a boss! Family travel definitely has its challenges but it provides such rich experiences we can't recommend it highly enough. Now for some downtime at home in the mountains before the next adventure begins.
