Good morning ✨ re-visiting this pose that I’ve neglected for a while. It made me mad one day when I couldn’t flip my grip so I’ve been ignoring it..🤣 new year time to start practicing it again...time to love my practice again and not get mad when I cannot do something I could do yesterday. That is the practice after all. What pose are you working on that maybe made you mad at one time? Let me know in the comments below. ✌🏻💜🦄
I had a whole long caption relating desired approval to overt obsession over social media appearance but the summary of it all is this: Stop giving a damn about people’s approval... speak and live YOUR truth. And that’s all I gotta say.. ✨🔥 #Vasisthasana variant with half #lotus bind #homepractice
#ардхадханурасана, так же ее включают чакрасаной по непонятной мне причине, утверждая, что все чакры в ней активны. Уж позвоночник точно. Выставила таймер на много секунд и забыла, стояла, тянулась. #ayearofyoga2018

#noosepose for #AYearOfYoga2018 today. I’ve added a video of getting into this posture. I can only hold it for a few breaths once I get my feet down and I can’t get my feet down on the other side (I can bind and stay lifted on the balls of my feet on both sides though). Ignore my silly faces in my video - I still had to post it because postures like this are a lot of work. I have to get into this mindfully, slowly, and while working with my breath. There is often so much work and focus behind these photos and I think it’s good to show it sometimes. @cyogalab@livesankalpa#yogabind#yogatwist#pasasana#balance#squats#keeppracticing#yogapractice#ashtanga

#ayearofyoga2018
I sure am thankful for this capable strong body that gets me through each day! 🙏🏼 .
But in poses like this, I sure wish my legs were longer. 😭🤣 .
This 2018 year, I promise to work more on my backbends (not my absolute fav 🤫) #nevergiveup .
Day 18- it's funny, this posture is literally so challenging for me. The feet down thing seems beyond impossible- my muscles seem way too short, my tight quads don't allow me to be a tight enough shape to really get the twist either. I think I'll work on lengthening the muscles above my ankles first. I worked out if I use a yoga brick for support, I can sit down and work those muscles. Baby (sits) steps ☺️
Announcing our first challenge of 2018 #AYearOfYoga2018: As we’ve been doing for the past 3 years (this is our 4th in a row!!), each January we repeat the same 28 poses, to keep us checked, motivated and track #progress. Personally, it’s not about measuring how much more flexible or stronger I am, it’s about renovating commitment, acknowledge consistency, devotion and express gratitude, wherever our #practice has taken us. When I teach, my main goal is not to give tips, have a good time or work on complex poses. All that is great, but I want to NOURISH the soul because, when that’s taken care of and you run high on #yogalove fuel, ANYTHING can happen. I’ve seen many enthusiastic yogis’ flame get weaker and eventually die, THAT I try to fight it with everything I’ve got. After 19 years of practicing/teaching, I know monotony, lack of purpose/motivation can win over the most devoted yogi. @yogawithaislinn, @rachely.wang and @gmcyoga will provide with alternatives so we can all #keeppracticing together! As usual, follow @cyogalab#yoga
Barely keeping both legs bound today. I had to do this one inside because my sleeve kept slipping on my leggings. I needed the strap to help my right arm but, I am bound hand to hand. @cyogalab#AYearOfYoga2018

Day 17 of #ayearofyoga2018 and I seem to be incapable of taking a good photo 🙈
Unable to lower from lotus tripod headstand to get into #parsvakukkutasana I tried this eagle legged side crow instead ☺️ demonstrated by the lovely @yogawithaislinn
For some reason I found this easier to hold than regular side crow 🤔 but difficult to get into 🙈😂
Happy teacher's day in Thailand!
I have been starting yoga practice 2 years ago, who's inspiration and teach me know, you should using breath more than flexible of your body. And build me into deeper of pose. Thank you so much!🙏❤ Yoga instructor, Yoga teacher 👉 @mai1718 more than words to say!✨✨ Happy time in class with you.
