MANAMEA ART STUDIO IS MOVING TO VAIGAGA 🥁🇼🇸
In January this year, we made an ambitious plan which involved two international tattoo tours, hosting our own art exhibition, and moving to a new premises!
This coming Monday we will move to a much bigger studio on the main road!
Here is our timeline 😊
2012: @lalovai_aisake_peseta & @nikki.mariner met & fell in love❤
2013: Married and started Manamea Art while in Australia
2014: Set up in Avao Savaii
2015: Moved to Vaitele Fou and artist Pele Loi joined the team
2016: A year of struggle & best forgotten but it was great that artist William Mauola joined Manamea at Vaitele.
2017: Two tours, best year for exporting carvings and hosted our own successful exhibition, and now we move to a new premises. We ticked all the boxes!
In our new place, we will have room to hire more artists and a receptionist.
We plan to run art classes and exhibitions... and focus on expanding our tattooing and carvings and paintings.
Vaitele Fou was a safe and comfortable place for us to nurture our baby business for three years. With grateful hearts, we thank our landlord and neighbours for putting up with us and our noise and the steady stream of clients who struggled to find our studio.
Thanks to a lovely new landlord who supports and believes in us, we now have prime location and visibility, and lots of space to take our art to a new level.
We are so proud to be based in Samoa and take this opportunity to thank all our beautiful Manamea Art Lovers around the world for your trust, support and patronage.
See you at Vaigaga 😍🌺 #artstudio#moving#newshop#samoanartists#manameaartstudio#manamea#samoa#vaigaga#loveandart#nikkimariner#lalovaipeseta#peleloi#williammauola#artinsamoa#artlife#dreambig#workhard#thankyou
