Looking thru pics, #kaleboy pointing at the pigeons nesting under second bridge, mommy paddling keiki up #anahuluriver Lahela and Makua looking on and Carrie Alice leading the way on her paddle board.... So much going on internationally, I'm not sure what the future holds for our nation and it's position in the world, reflecting on this day with our family and friends reminds me how fortunate I am to live free, without the suffering of poverty and hunger and separation from those I love. I can jump on a plane and go where ever. I live in a bubble protected by men and woman, with families of their own, who risk their lives so I can live in my bubble.
I have no comment left or right, people look for reasons to justify their actions, it doesn't take much to get someone going.
Mahalo to the men and woman who risk your life for my freedom. As our nation moves forward with change, your risk increases, and I pray for your safety, everyday.
