Work the angles! ☝😊 Rigging a top down on Endless Summer (V8/7B). Clifton. Cape Town. 📸@dandybeard
Climbing is a small part of the process of documenting a new climb. A fraction of the time is spent in climbing mode. The majority of time is spent looking for angles, rigging, framing, searching for light and more 🤔 It's a creative process from start to end. This is me on the edge rigging my camera. I have to work hard for the angles. But nothing great ever comes easy. And importantly, the hard work pays off! ☝😉
Join me on the first ascent of Endless Summer, a granite boulder in Clifton Bay, South Africa. Ready, set, let's go adventure! 🚶🌍

#RoamMoment - What happened last week off Maui’s infamous break, Jaws, is what surfers dream about. Two storms converged creating the swells that big-wave surfers train their entire lives to ride. With satellites confirming large seas in excess of 40 to 45 feet, the planet's most elite big-wave surfers and shooters rushed in, including @BoBridges, who reported live in the water for us. As big and dangerous as it was, the lineup of surfers was thick, but the best part of the day was after the lineup emptied out. "Just when you thought you'd witnessed history go down and people started heading back to the harbor to call it a day... @Kai_Lenny busted out his foil and whipped into Jaws," recalls Bo. “I was just blown away by Kai’s speed on that foil. He was moving so fast he was outpacing the wave. Never seen anything like it!"⠀
"The conditions got picture perfect ... and I was just going so fast," says Kai, who is taking hydrofoiling to the next level. "It's fun to do something different. We surf all these similar big waves all the time, it's nice to approach from a different perspective."⠀

So this place is stunning, like makes me giggly stunning. I've seen this place all over Instagram and I'm glad I finally got to go. It definitely won't be my last visit.
Really enjoying these FFA’s popping up. Fitting in photography into full time medic life is pretty difficult, and this gives me the opportunity to get creative with places I’ve always wanted to visit. Check out my story for before and after! Thanks @kuhrmarvin#kuhrmarvinFFA
