Cheers 🥂 to the babes out there, who haven’t showered in a “few” days, who would rather take a nap, who don’t always have motivation, but chooses to do the hard shit anyway ✊🏼 Keep slaying 🤜🏼🤛🏼 To my babes slaying #80DO... Goals don’t have to equal anyone else’s, find your driving WHY and show up, motivated or not 👌🏼 Do you prefer workouts in the morning or evening ???
The perfect water bottle keeps liquids COLD in the summer heat and HOT in chilly temps. Ice cold water after a sweaty hike? Yes, please! Hot coffee on a cold winter's morning? Hell yes! We're shamelessly spreading the word that #treetribe water bottles do just that 🙌 #treetribevibe •

Taking this #tbt to two years ago when the beginning jumps of my full dive into location independence started. This is a snap from my first ever solo road trip! I had lived in California for 3 years prior to being NY based and in my time living in CA, I had never been to Big Sur! Can you believe it? That’s not ok. So when a business trip with @Dev_Bootcamp took me out West to San Diego, I took the opportunity to do an epic roadtrip from SD up to SF stopping in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Big Sur on the way.
& yes, of course I got a bright red convertible for the adventure lol 🙈💁🏽♀️💃🏽 How else does one do a solo roadtrip along the gorgeous California coast? It was January so it was actually quite chilly, not exactly top-down weather. But I committed to the feels fam! I put on a sweater, pulled a beanie over my head (just call me #CraigDavid) and cranked up the tunes as I cruised up the coast. What I didn’t know at the time is that I’d do yet another drive along the Pacific Coast Highway later in the year but instead going from SF to LA, after my time at Burning Man.
I’ve been thinking about California a lot lately. Looking forward to being in LA starting Feb 14th. Also considering going down to San Diego too later next month. We’ll see!
When was the last time you did a roadtrip? Where did you go? I’d certainly be open to doing one this Spring. LMK if you’re down. I’ve still never been to The Grand Canyon, nor have I explored Colorado much. Ok I’m going to stop writing now before the Wanderlusting gets the best of me. Hope you all had a great New Moon yesterday! 🌑🙏🏽🙌🏽✨

When you realise you're going to actually have to go in the ocean after blithely deciding a January swim was a great idea.
Ready for a year of fresh air? I'm super proud to be named one of @ordnancesurvey's #GetOutside champions for 2018 along with a big gang of inspiring explorers. Lots of cake-fuelled outdoor adventures to come!
Finding the joy in every situation, and laughing my way through life! There is always something to be joyful about. I'm going crazy not being able to climb or hike, but start PT next Wednesday for my ankle. The doctor I saw used to be a climber and an avid hiker. He was super optimistic and it was encouraging talking to him. I may finish every Netflix show there is, but it'll be worth it if I can trek any of the trails in NZ 🙌🏽
Watching sunrise from a volcanic crater > getting ready for work. Guess it's back to reality, but my head's still above the clouds at Haleakalā.
Look at the earth crowded with growth, new and old bursting from their strong roots hidden in the silent, live ground, each seed according to its own kind...each one knowing what to do, each one demanding its own rights on the earth. So artist, you too from the depths of your soul...let your roots creep forth, gaining strength. ~ (Emily Carr)

"This was going to be a story about how people go through their lives forgetting, forgetting, forgetting until that one moment when they suddenly remember they want to be doing other things that make them laugh & cry & feel every bit of the wind on their skin & they decide they are never going to forget again, but first they should probably check their phone one more time and you can probably guess how it goes after that."

Transitioning from fall in the canyons to winter in the Cascades. Life, above all, is seasonal. Ebbs and flows, ups and downs, transitions that lead us down our path.
