WHY DID YOU DO IT? •
Why did you decide to take the step in beginning your dream? Why did you start your Instagram page, your blog, your website or even your clinic? •
Want to know why I started? People are everything to me; more so, people realising their full potential & knowing that they CAN do what they dream of doing is something I'm even more passionate about. •
I've had a lot of friends and people in my life walk the journey of, and become blinded by, the struggles of mental health issues. Before they know it they can longer see clearly: see the blessings in their life, see their worth, see the prosperity of their further, even see a reason for another day. •
The more I witnessed, the more I wanted to do something about it. When I began studying 5 years ago, people thought I was crazy studying two things that had nothing to do with each other (in fact, so many people STILL ask me why I studied what I did) Nutrition and Psychology. 🙌🏼
But I KNEW they were connected! •
I believe the health industry has a massive gap - a gap that researchers have only just started to realised - that there is a massive intersection between Nutrition & Mental Health. •
I have studied this extensively post-uni & am only more convinced that I have a message to share with the world, and I want to do everything I can to let people know that they no longer have to be blinded but that they can do something to free themselves from the bondages of Mental Health. I want to EMPOWER you to take control, and overcome what is deemed as impossible to overcome - because I assure you, it's not. •
Remember why you started & what you want to achieve, because that is what will keep you going when everything else is tell you to stop. .

I’ve always rinsed my dishes in vinegar & lemon to remove any soap residue, odours, helps dry quicker & gives a brilliant shine. When we finally got a dishwasher I think I tried a bought rinse aid once or twice before going back to my trusted vinegar & lemon. Simply spray everything in the dishwasher before turning on. For the last couple of days, I've been moved. Moved by the loss of such young lives in Florida, and moved by the willingness of those who survived to take action.
It's a reminder that despite the tragedies in the world, there are people willing to do what's right. People willing to stand up for injustice.
I'm in awe of the fortitude and strength these teens have shown in the face of such adversity. I'm inspired by their courage, boldness, tenacity, and most importantly the love they continue to show one another.

I almost didn’t make pancakes, but then I did and they made me very, very happy. Some people say diamonds are a girls best friend. I say pancakes are a girls best friend 🥞 Pancakes sadly not from today because I’m leaving for work in twenty minutes. Instead I just finished a sloppy but very tasty meal of chocolate Bircher muesli that I prepared last night. My Bircher mix is getting low, so my plan for the weekend is top it up. Maybe if I remember I’ll show you guys what I throw in it since people seem to ask a fair bit.

LOADED OATS🙌🏼 Happy Wednesday everyone !! ✨✨ It was raining all day yesterday so instead of getting drenched in rain walking everywhere on campus, I decided to do my work at home, lay in bed for a very long time, and catch up on a lotttt of sleep. I also watched two documentaries and finished a mini bag of pita chips. It was just that kind of day (and a much needed one too) 💁🏻♀️🙌🏼 // oats with bananas, blueberries, raspberries, coconut flakes, flax seeds, hemp seeds, chia seeds, @naturespathorganic coconut chia granola, @navitasorganics power cacao goji snacks, honey, and homemade almond butter. ❤️❤️

Summer bodies are made in the winter!! My current workout of choice is #PiYo. My husband has @teambeachbody on demand, so I can literally do any of their workouts at any time. I love it. But really, PiYo is where it’s at. I feel like I am working my muscles and flexibility.
