So excited to wish Olympian Nick Cunningham the very BEST of luck as he gets ready to show the world who's boss on the bobsled track!! Good luck #TeamUSA & #TeamCunningham! And I mean, let's be real: I love that he's just as at home at the rodeo as he is on the Olympic stage!
Train selfie on the way back from PyeongChang. I don't look that bad considering that in the last 3 days I've had 6 hours of sleep, no shower, almost nothing to eat other than convenience store snacks, and probably 50 beers. And I wouldn't change a thing! I had a blast. 😊🇰🇷 #pyeongchang2018#teamUSA
Speedskating is one of the most popular sports in South Korea which I learned when finding it impossible to get a ticket. So thankful to the friend who gifted me a ticket and for the opportunity to learn so much about short track speedskating! Some aspects of the sport that were confusing to me include: 1. The rink is a normal ice rink with moveable cones delineating the track space. Strange to me that you can hit the cones without penalty 2. The race starts off at a walking pace 3. When people fall they don’t seem to get up and race very hard to the finish. Thankful for the opportunity to learn about this sport and to watch the USA secure a silver medal! #PyeongChang2018#TeamUSA#speedskating#thankful#gifting

I am proud to be an American! America is a nation built by immigrants. I was born to by immigrant parents from the Philippines who came to the United States for a better life and now I am married to an immigrant from Vietnam.
What it means to be an American is less about who you are than what you are about-- how you live your life, how you contribute to this country, how you pledge allegiance to a flag hoping and praying it will make room for you.
