Smugglers Cove, once these cottages were a happening place! During prohibition the rum runners would use this place to off load and supply LA with booze 🧐 #prohibition#roaring20s
In #MoonshinersGame the combat is in fact drinking your enemies under the table. Arm yourself with a crate of the strongest booze, some hangover aid and start drinking, because any unchallenged enemy will hunt you down and wreck your buildings. COMING TO KICKSTARTER IN APRIL 2018!!! #eurogame#4x#postapocalyptic#miniatures#prohibition

Come enjoy cocktails, snacks and giveaways at Brown Street Court (2617 Brown St) and learn why Al Capone would want to live here! “Prohibition has made nothing but trouble.”
Do you know the password?? Given the illicit activities that took place inside the speakeasies of the American Prohibition, it’s understandable that not everyone was allowed entry.
Find your way to The Blind Librarian and ask for The Bookkeeper, our doorman will then show you through the bookcase.

Pretty sad, and kinda surreal to see the archaic BC Liquor Laws at work - taking import duties and taxes I believe they already receive at purchase and targeting specialized establishments selling SMWS bottlings. Here we see the agents taking the bottles directly from the collection at Fetz.
Fetz’ wasn’t their only victim in these prohibition style raids; which I could only liken back to the days of Elliot Ness. Pretty sad BC Liquor - I can’t imagine that the community will just lie down and take it though.

On January 16th, 1920 the 18th amendment went into full effect starting the 13 year drought that was prohibition. In 1933, sober & loathing it, Americans came to their senses & appealed, by this stage so much liquor had been wasted! Many inferior whiskies had become labeled as 'Irish whiskey', as if the lack of exportation hadn't damaged the Irish market enough... #prohibition@DylanWhiskyBar@KilkennyWhiskeyGuild#TheFirstDrop#bourbon#rye
We shot our February bar issue cover in this moody hideaway. Can you guess the location? Hint: They serve hidden alcohol with dry ice in Tiki Pots and tea cups.
