Hands down my go-to breakfast when I have time. Yes, this is a very cumbersome task, but to me totally worth it! Raspberries and blackberries for fiber. Organic eggs, egg whites, and bacon for protein and fat. Spinach and mushrooms for nutrients and food volume. High protein, high fat(-ish), and high fiber.

On a different note, I love cooking and connecting with what and how I eat. I’ve heard it said before that one may have an unhealthy relationship with food If they labor over their meals. And I can see that, but this isn’t the case with me. I’ve loved cooking since forever. I will spend hours in a cookware store or section of a store. I find it so fulfilling to create my food. And honestly, I get bummed when people, GROWNUPS, don’t have basic cooking skills. Cooking doesn’t have to be hard or a science. Just put food in a pan and cook it until it’s done, and then flavor it how you like. Obviously if you’re in a dieting phase you need to watch calories, but this shouldn’t be hard. LEARN TO COOK PEOPLE! And, I promise if you’re single this will benefit you a) because you can make your own great tasting healthy food, and b) both men and women find it sexy. 🏔

Happy hump day, friends! Well, I’m 100% guilty of the booty poppin’ poses, but there is still no doubt that I have built a butt from a pancake! That is truly the incredible thing about bodybuilding to me! YOU have the ability to build and shape your body! Yes, YOU! I didn’t start here. I’ve been lifting consistently now for over 2.5 years. Formerly, I was a distance runner for about 14ish years! I often get asked if I still run.... the answer is NO. That’s not to say that I won’t someday, but I’m incredibly happy doing what I do now! I always preach this, but you must do what you love, not what everyone else is doing! When you enjoy it, you’ll keep at it! You’ll do it bc you love it, not because you feel you have to!
