✨Transformation Tuesday ✨ I’ve very much fluctuated in weight over the years. Since joining @slimmingworld I’ve managed to remain in the 10 stone bracket, although I’m determined to make 2018 my year and get in the 9 stone bracket and reach target! I’ve uploaded these photos to show you my journey throughout the years.
Photo 1️⃣ taken in 2010, where I was at my heaviest and also unhappiest. I was aged 16, I’d had some troubled teen years, and found comfort in eating, I’ve always been an emotional eater. My teens were my hardest years, I was bullied for the way I looked, I struggled with the pressure of my GCSE’s and my hormones all over the place. All of these factors contributed to my weight. I remember this photo and how I felt at my prom, I wanted to look like all the beautiful thin girls.
Photo 2️⃣ this was taken whilst celebrating my 18th birthday, I was much happier here. I’d lost weight by walking 4-6 miles a day and eating healthily and cutting out carbs, I felt great fitting into my size 12 figure hugging dress.
Photo 3️⃣ I had taken to comfort eating and also drinking wine. I’d started the position I currently work at now, it was a huge change and it’s a stressful job, as the emotional eater I am, I’d seek comfort in food, binging at home when I’d finish work, sometimes drinking a bottle of wine too. Ordering takeaways and picking up unhealthy eating habits. The weight piled on, this photo was taken at a family christening, I remember feeling self conscious of how I looked, mostly my growing belly. I remember dreading having this photo taken and folded my arms in an attempt to cover my stomach.
Photo 4️⃣ taken this morning! I feel the most confident in my own skin, I’ve managed to lose 2 stone, so far. I feel great, I know I’m treating my body well and am fueling it with the right things. Slimming world has given me the tools to live a healthy life. Yes there are obstacles, yes I still eat when I’m feeling stressed, but I try to make good choices as I don’t want to undo all my hard work.
Finding the #motivation to both take and post the videos I said I would has been so much harder to do with everything that has been going on in my life. Today is different. It's a #gorgeous, sunny day, and I'm going to spend it #playing in the #park. Time to eat some food, put on my #bigboypants and do what what brings me fufillment!
Evet arkadaşlar tam bir haftadır doğru düzgün ders çalışamadım. Yeri geldi hasta olduk yeri geldi uykusuz. Bir türlü uygun fırsat olamayınca motivasyon düşüklüğü oluştu ister istemez. Sömestr planını yapmıştım zaten henüz sömestr'a girmedik bu yüzden kalan zamanı planda yazan derslerden konu özeti çıkarıp yükümü hafifletmeye çalışacağım.
