I feel like there’s often a misconception when it comes to healthy hair. Natural hair is usually synonymous with ‘healthy’ and relaxed hair, not. When in reality healthy hair simply boils down to the individual and how they treat their hair. I’ve seen broken ‘unhealthy’ natural hair that refuses to grow and bra strap length ‘healthy’ relaxed hair that flourishes, and vice versa (although healthy hair isn’t signified by just length alone, it’s just an example). To me, healthy hair is healthy hair, regardless of texture.

Traditional install and 4 bundles later. Long, thick hair shouldn’t be an excuse not to have a flat install. (She was also another client I had to fight with about trimming her ends, but she finally came around lol)
