Este excepcional estudo de Hunter (2008) avaliou 94 mulheres com sobrepeso (IMC entre 27 e 30) que emagreceram até o IMC ficar igual ou menor que 25 (parâmetro saudável).
O grupo que fez só dieta perdeu 12,9kg, sendo 1,5kg de músculo e 11,4kg de gordura.
O grupo aeróbio e dieta perdeu 13kg, sendo 1,1kg de músculo e 11,9kg de gordura.
Já o grupo musculação e dieta perdeu 11,6kg, sendo 11,9kg de gordura (MESMO do aeróbio) e GANHOU 0,4kg de músculo (ÚNICO grupo que NÃO teve redução no metabolismo de repouso).
Assim, tanto o grupo AERÓBIO como MUSCULAÇÃO provocaram a MESMA perda de gordura, mas só a MUSCULAÇÃO provocou ganho muscular e manutenção do METABOLISMO.
Portanto, associar a musculação a dieta parece a melhor opção, claro que as outras estratégias também são válidas e podem gerar excelentes resultados.

🥀 19 years tomorrow since a routine operation took my mom away from us. She was such a kind and wonderful woman that is still so sadly missed by so many. I could never fill her shoes because she just touched so many. And all I feel is anger that I didn’t get to have a mother for all those important times I needed her as a made my way into adulthood. And all because someone made a mistake, and then others didn’t notice to fix it in time 🥀

2018 has had a really rough start for our family.
Loved ones passing, illness, finances, job change, they all make life hard and sometimes you just have to wade through some heavy emotions.
We are so thankful for all of your prayers through this tough season. Our hope is in the Lord. .

Heart Break Series: Final Day
Has anyone heard of the ’30 day no contact rule’? If you read online, you will see that it is a technique to try and get your ex back.
Of course if that is what you want, please do go ahead and try.
But i actually used the ’30 day no contact rule’, to try and cleanse them out my system.
What do i mean?
I mentioned in my previous post that falling in love activates the same brain chemicals as when you do cocaine.
This means when you fall out of love, you are actually suffering withdrawals. (Which explains why it feels so dramatically painful)
What better way to quit an addiction then to go cold turkey?
30 days to prove to yourself that you are fine without them
30 days to prove to yourself that you do not need them
30 days to focus on yourself and find other things to do
30 days of no stalking
30 days of getting out your comfort zone and trying new things
30 days of finding yourself
When 30 days is over, you may or may not still have the desire to want to contact them. Maybe stalk them.
If you still feel as strongly as you do on the first day, I say go for it!
Let it out your system. Do it until you feel stupid. Do it till you feel desperate.
Do it until you feel silly. Do it until you realise that this is doing more damage than good.
Then start the process again.
30 days of detoxification.
Just remember, every time you ‘fail’ your 30 days. You start from Day 0 again.
I just failed my 30 day rules too. And as punishment, i am going to run (I REALLY HATE RUNNING), 14 days in and i caved, i am not saying that it is going to be easy. But i do think that this is going to be a good thing for us.
So be strong for you.
