“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, my soul knows it very well.” -Psalm 139:14
Accepting yourself is trusting in God. He made each and every one of his children just the way He wanted. He knew exactly who we were in the womb and He knows exactly all we will do before dying. He could have made you another way, but He didn’t and He has a reason. There is a plan He has for you and your unique self. You are you. You are who God made you to be. He loves you. He loves every single part of you, the strong and the weak. So, trust in God and enjoy the person He created you to be.
The holy hierarch, Saint Dionysius, who was born and reared on Zakynthos, was the son of pious and wealthy parents, Mocius and Paulina by name. In his youth he entered the ancient monastery of the Strophada Islands, which lie south of Zakynthos, and there he donned the monastic habit. Later, he was appointed Archbishop of Aegina, and adorned its throne for a considerable time. Thereafter he returned to his homeland. One incident in his life especially reveals to what virtue he attained. A man came to him in desperation, witnessing that he had committed a murder, and was being pursued by the slain man's family. He asked Saint Dionysius to give him refuge. The Saint agreed to this, upon learning that it was his own brother whom the man had slain, he said nothing, but concealing the agony of his grief, hid him. When the Saint's kinsmen arrived at the monastery, he told them that the Murderer had gone by such and such a way. When they had departed, he admonished the man concerning the gravity of his sin, instructed him in repentance, and sent him off in peace having forgiven him his brother's murder. According to local tradition, this man later returned and became a monk at this same monastery. Saint Dionysius reposed in peace in 1621, leaving behind his sacred and incorrupt relics as a treasure for his fellow citizens.
May he intercede for us all.
My trip to LA recently is nothing short of a miracle trip. Given my unstable income, I had never imagined myself to be in LA this year. Yet everything just fell nicely into place and flowed so smoothly without me having to stretch my finances!
It all started with a desire to go for Hillsong Conference in LA back in March. But I dismissed it thinking I couldn’t afford a long trip this year. October came and I was supposed to head to Sri Lanka with a friend but the plan fell through. Itching to go for a holiday, LA Hillsong pop to mind again. I checked Zuji and saw there were $800+ air tickets to LA round trip, and was immediately tempted. -
I couldn’t make up my mind whether to go or not. So I surrendered this trip to God. And told Him that if He wants me to go, make it happen for me. Show me a sign. And a sign He showed me indeed..
3 days later, I received a phone call from my ex-colleague to ask me if I were interested to help out with a project. We agreed on $800/month for my services. I went back to check the air ticket pricing again and saw a $770 (USD$550) round trip ticket from SIN to LAX! Praise the Lord! ✨
I was still undecided but eventually, bravely took a step forward and booked my plane tickets. I spent 10 days in LA and 2 sleeps in Portland. Coming home, I was scared to check my credit card bills, but to my surprise and relief, my bills for Nov and Dec were roughly the same amount I’ve been paying the last few months! No stretch in the finances too!
God is just so, so good. Ive been so blessed, favoured, and loved in LA too. Met so many kind people, had amazing experiences, and generally good vibes all around. This LA trip is one of my highlights for 2017, and it wouldn’t have been possible without my DaddyGod. Thank you so much for loving me. ♥️
PSA: Don’t waste your life worrying about whether ‘the cup’ is half empty or half full. Be thankful you have a cup. Gratitude = happiness. It’s not about what we have to do, it’s about what we get to do. Being positive doesn't mean you don't ever have negative thoughts. It just means you don't let those thoughts control your life. I love this photo because it is pure joy, caught candid. If I could describe myself in a photo, this it: sharing love, laughter and joy with those who are close to me. I am grateful for everyone I have shared a giggle, a laugh, and a tear with this year. Be unapologetically you. Shoutout to @wolfingaround for loving me, for me. You bring out the best in me. Most importantly, shoutout to my family, thank you for the unconditional love and support - always. It’s not about being perfect. It’s about being present, loving yourself and loving others. New mantra: Think less. Pray more. 🖤
shoutout to #kirstenchilstrom for being unapologetically yourself and for dope the flicks 📸
Quote Master: Special thanks to my spiritual guru, my incredible friend and brother in arms @rwreeder4 for sending me a quote every morning of 2017. That is support. That is loyalty. That is love. Grateful for you homie. This post takes inspiration from you.
I had the honor of being apart of MOVE, an event that celebrated God given talents of individuals. It was my first time setting up at any kind of event, and it was a true blessing! I even went up and spoke about how Stell8r Designs came about and how God has blessed me so much through this journey, and he is always good!! ❤️

When I think about the wise men, I’m amazed at how willing they were to interrupt their lives and go on a quest to seek baby Jesus. Surely, they were important leaders in their tribes and nations with seemingly more important things to do than traipse all over the world following a star and looking for a baby. However, that’s exactly what they did. And some scholars think the wise men may have been traveling for months, maybe even years, to find the newborn King.
I wonder how often we miss out on God’s invitations to experience Jesus because we’re not willing to interrupt our daily lives and normal schedules. But do you really want to miss out on being part of what God is doing in others’ lives?
God’s interruptions are often invitations to something more significant. Today don’t miss out on the blessing of participating in God’s plan because you’re too busy. Allow God’s Spirit to interrupt your plans and reveal the joy of giving. #hispresenceisheaven#Peace#Hugfromheaven#bestfriend#God#King#waymaker#perfector#hisplanisbetter#love#Godislove#Godisincontrol#Godisgood
Such a special time with Amelia. After Fruit That Lasts was read to her classroom she went over to the window to pray and ask Jesus to come into her heart. We rejoiced with the angels in heaven over her decision! #FruitThatLasts

The Yoke. Two can pull more together than their sum working separately. God desires us to work in community and, when we learn His methods, we prove nothing can substitute it. A good team learns to work off of the encouragement of the other. In time their yoke becomes worn to their frame and new edges become molded so that the work load is comfortable and bruises cease to occur. Time and cooperation is what builds the best team. #thejourneyofalife#Godisgood#humblyrelating#infinitelymoretogether
