I was looking at some amazing art by @vanessa_ramirez and her unique monsters and cool artistic style reminded me of what once pulled me into creating things in the first place. If you have not seen her page you should check her work out asap. Go ahead and look at her page. I’ll be here 🧐 ...waiting and thinking to myself. I have always liked making monsters and creatures. 👾 This “stumpy the Moss Man” was one of the first things I ever sculpted as a kid. I mostly see the asymmetrical design issues, the many flaws, and mistakes now. At the time I was proud of this guy and I thought he was special. Other artists are so inspiring to me and other great art can remind you why you enjoy creating things in the first place. I’m thinking about making a little tree stump of the “Moss Man” here in resin. I don’t really show my art online often. It’s more fun to like your art on here and I prefer talking to people in the flesh, but I suppose it’s time that I move into the online thing. I still prefer that pre-phone era and talking to people directly, but the world has changed without me. It is time that I move on and change also, so I’m thinking of making some kind of creatures and little guys of this type of design. I might sell a couple and I will likely give some away. I want to do something just for fun. This guy started out as a scribble on the back of a coloring book alongside many other creatures and finally he turned into a sculpt in high school. I want to thank all of the inspiring and awesome people on here for what you do and what you often share. Your work is awesome and I love cheering you on. There has been so much amazing work online lately and it makes me smile. People like @seriouslysillyk@doublegtoys@duzmachines84@dropkag@alienrobotmonster@jason_america_@guerrero_masilla@jackventuro@mayonnaiseandbread@strawmancomics@theartofskinner and so many others who post art, share great links, good ideas, and those of you who create inspiring things. Thank you all for the cool things you do. #brainstorming#flashbackfriday#friday#flashback#stumpythemossman
I'm super stoked about #2018. Leaving it in God's hand to do what I'm willed to do. Shedding bad habits, progressing forward, and making big moves towards personal growth. I want people to challenge themselves physically but more importantly mentally. Your brain is a muscle too SO WORK IT! "Never put off for tomorrow, what you can do today"

#FlashbackFriday to this early season Kansas buck. Team member Lee Novotny was hunting Kansas hard for a week and almost made the decision to go home on day seven. It’s a good thing he didn’t because day eight would make the entire trip worthwhile. // Read the full story on the Drury Outdoors Journal (link in bio)
