Ohayou! Good morning! We’re in Japan, one of our favorite places, hopping around to our favorite spots. We’ve been here about a dozen times, so what’s different now? A lot more English speakers and hotels are increasing their online presence in anticipation of the 2020 Olympics. What used to require a lot of pantomime and language training is now being replaced with English signage and Google image translator. It’s a different world and we feel mixed about it. But Tokyo will be under the global spotlight and they are gearing up! We’re also deeply appreciating the child-centric nature of the culture with nursing rooms and play areas in many public spaces and shopping centers. Introducing our toddler here makes us wish we could stay longer and bring back many of the amenities to the states! More soon. 📷: @instagramjapan

Turning 18 today has been one of the best ways I’ve welcomed my year of life, Last year around this time was the first time I really went to nature and explored with the purpose of creating content. Now, A year later its what I do for a living and I have been blessed to have the opportunity to be here in the Patagonia and explore its majestic landscapes and be able to document them and become one with them. I will be posting a ton more content very soon and a video from my entire trip here in Argentina. Heres to more years to celebrate in the future. 🙏🏻🤙🏻🇬🇹
Ah New Orleans, it's a good thing you're pretty. ❄
The freezing temps for the most part are over, but now we're left with the embarrassing stuff that hits the national news that we just deal with as part of living here and try not to have to explain how broken so many thing's are here. Here's a few of of the advisories we're living with after 2 nights of hard freezes. Conserve energy, power outages, boil water, don't drink the water, low water pressure, no water, roads closed, schools closed. You get the idea, there's a lot of optimism here though and despite the negativity you hear on the news most the locals live with a glass half full attitude!

Ohio surprises you sometimes. I had just enough time after class today to head over to Lake Erie and check out the “ice shove” that occurred when lake ice broke up and winds from the northeast blew the large pieces up against the shore in Port Clinton, Ohio. Add a little golden light from a cold January sunset and it left me shaking my head at how the Midwest still surprise me once in awhile. Check out my Story for a few more from the location. #feedyouradventure@clifbar#clifcontributor
