💥HOW TO GET A SIX-PACK💥
@syattfitness ☃️The thing about getting a six-pack is "doing abs" won't necessarily help you "get abs." And by that I mean, doing a cauldron full of ab exercises isn't enough to make your stomach flat or your abs visible or more defined.
🐥See, many of us witches and wizards have been led to believe if an exercise burns in a certain spot, it's directly targeting that fat while simultaneously "toning" the muscles underneath. But it's not that simple.
🏓When you do an ab exercise, yes, you are strengthening your abs and building lean muscle which, eventually, can appear more defined. BUT, and this is a big but, doing ab exercises does not burn ab fat. That's a tired, old myth called "spot reduction" and it's been debunked time and again.
☕️ The reason most people can't see their abs no matter how many crunches and sit-ups and planks they do is simply because they have a beautifully wonderful layer or two of our very own "built-in" invisibility cloaks covering them up. They keep us warm and cozy and, yes, they hide your abs. But should you want to take the cloak off to share your abs at will, it's really very simple.
1️⃣Track your calories and, most importantly, make sure you're in a net calorie deficit to lose fat over time.
2️⃣Lift heavy things. Squats and deadlifts and lunges and push-ups and chin-ups and rows and presses are big, compound movements meant to be the foundation of your workouts.
3️⃣Be ruthlessly patient. Because this process takes time. A lot of time. And if you go in expecting immediate results, you're setting yourself up for disappointment.
4️⃣Drink more unicorn blood. I could say because of its thermogenic effect or how it blunts hunger. But that would be codswallop - I just think you should drink it because only muggles don't drink coffee.
🏓Long story short, getting a six-pack is way more simple than many make it out to be. Not easy. But simple. And if you track your calories, and lift regularly, and stay patient, and fuel yourself with fresh unicorn blood...you will succeed. There's no question about it. It's not a matter of "if." Just a matter of "when."
I reviewed the @swanicoco.en Bitamin C Calm Down toner a while back and have also been testing out the matching emulsion and am now ready to give my thoughts!
The bottle is identical to the toner (and yes I've gotten them mixed up before). It has a similar list of ingredients, and also the same litchi rose smell. The texture of the emulsion is a little watery compared to some other emulsions and lotions that I've used in the past, which I quite like since it's easier to spread. Surprisingly enough, I've noticed that my toner bottle sometimes gets stuck trying to get product out, but I've never had this happen to the emulsion.
In terms of effects, I found the toner to be a bit more hydrating and sinks into my skin better. The emulsion is easy to spread, but has always left a bit of a tackiness to my skin that I don't really like, especially in the morning when I have bb cream I want to out over it. It works well enough for my night time routine but I'm not wowed by its effects. Since it's not a product that I could easily use for both morning and evening routines, I don't see myself wanting to repurchase this in the future. .
